At Mode Hair Design we pride ourselves on making your hair perfect for your big day. We do this by listening to your ideas and advising you on whether or not it will work with the style of your dress and your hair type. Mode Hair Design are one of the only salons for Wedding Hair in Worcester that will come to you on the day of your wedding, whether it's at home or a hotel. We believe this makes the whole day more relaxed and gives you more time to get ready. Mode Hair Design also have an in house beautician and manicurist so we can offer you the full Wedding Hair and Make Up package for your special day!
How Mode Hair Design works for Wedding Hair
In order for Mode Hair Design to achieve your perfect wedding hair we would like to meet you and your bridesmaids (if they are also having their hair styled) a few times before the day. This will give us a better idea of the style you want, how your hair behaves so we can advise on how to look after your hair the week before, and also gives us chances to change the style in enough time if you change your mind. The way we work the appointments are:
Step 1: The Consultation
The first appointment and one of the most important is the consultation. At this appointment no work will be done on your hair, but it gives us chance to find out about you, your ideas, the style of your dress, if you wanted to wear anything in your hair (i.e tiara, gems, flowers) type of wedding and gives us a chance to look at your hair. This will normally last around 30minutes and it is free of charge. At the end of the consultation, we will book you in for your trial 6-8weeks before the wedding. Step 2: The Trial
When you come in to Mode Hair Design for your wedding hair trial it would be best (if possible) to bring in anything that you will be wearing in your hair so that you get a better idea of what the style will look like. Some brides arrange the trial for the same day that they go for a dress fitting to see how the hair looks with the dress. The trial is more of a guide to us of how your hair will work with the style, so it is a lot quicker than would it would be on the day. This is to save time for you and also to make it cost effective to you. The cost for the trial could be from £28 - £35 depending on the style that you have chosen. It is completely up to you if you would like another trial before the day but isn't necessary.
Step 3: Colour, Cuts and Treatments
This step is completely the brides decision and not always required. This is where we will book you in for an colours, cuts or treatments that you would like. Normally this would be booked for 1 week before the wedding and would be discussed at the trial. Mode Hair Design are one of the only salons in Worcester that can offer you a Clear Glossing and a complimentary Moroccan Oil Treatment. The Clear Glossing isn't damaging to your hair and won't change the colour or tone of your hair if you don't want it to, it simply adds shine and gloss to your hair for the big day. This appointment would be booked after the trial at a time and date of your choice.
Step 4: Your Wedding Day
The day before the wedding Mode Hair Desgin will ring you for a final confirmation of times and a quick re-cap of how we will be working. We will then come to where ever you would like the morning of the wedding and make your wedding hair perfect for your day!
Prices
Prices for Wedding Hair vary on the bride, amount of bridesmaids and amount of work being done. The average price for the day is £45 - £60 per hour, which may vary for travelling costs and styles. An estimate will be given at the consultation which is free of charge and a definate price will be given after the trial. Please contact Mode Hair Design for more information.
